Extremely original example of a rare 1973.5 Porsche 911T Coupe with factory optioned sunroof. Having been owned by a number of prominent collectors since sold new, this early Porsche 911 is a well cared for survivor and retains nearly all of it’s original Silver Metallic paint.  The original front suspension pan, floors and rockers are all rust free.

The original matching numbers 2.4 liter CIS engine runs very strong with only 58,000 original miles and has been properly updated with the Carrera cam chain tensioners.  Very well maintained, since sold new.  A $3000 documented service was recently completed.  Over $6000 spent in suspension and brake service also.  The original 915 five speed transmission shifts excellent.  Rarely seen, the body is still wearing most of it’s original silver metallic paint and original special order red leather interior with perfect original dash top.  All opening panels show excellent gaps.  Originally ordered from factory with sunroof, wheel well trim, S package and more.  Original owner’s manual, service warranty book, detailed service records and original toolkit.  The CIS injected 2.4 liter 911T is long known to be the smoothest driving of all the early 911’s.  This is a great opportunity to purchase a very original 1973 Porsche 911T Sunroof Coupe in a rare color combination.

Late in the production run of 1973, Porsche started to install the more advanced Bosch K-jetronic (CIS) fuel injection system into only the 911T models sold in the United States.  From an engineering perspective, these 911T models are the most advanced version of the early 911 combining the looks of the early cars with the drivability/reliability of the later model cars. The 2.4 liter CIS engine develops 148hp and provides a very smooth yet powerful ride.
