1976 Porsche 930 Sunroof Coupe in Rare Salmon Metallic
Rare and very desirable early 1976 Porsche 930 Sunroof Coupe with original 245HP 3.0 liter engine. Numbers matching. Fairly early example being only the 84th produced. Sold new in California. Original floors and rockers. Upper body is very straight and doors shut nicely with factory ping sound. No evidence of accidents which is quite rare for any early 930. Professional repaint in original paint to sample Salmon Metallic. Excellent interior now with factory sport seats in original black leather. Optioned with limited slip differential and sunroof. Excellent working Griffiths air conditioning system installed. Approximately 73,000 original miles on original 3.0 liter engine with very good leakdown test numbers. Tune-up, new brakes, new shocks and more within last 1000 miles. Original 4 speed transmission shifts excellent. Documented with COA and original books.
Porsche badged the vehicle simply as “Turbo” (although early U.S. units were badged as “Turbo Carrera”) and debuted it at the Paris Auto Show in October 1974 before putting it on sale in the spring of 1975; export to the United States began in 1976.
