1976 Porsche 930 Coupe in Rare Salmon Metallic

This 1976 Porsche 930 Turbo Carrera is the 84th of 530 US-market examples imported for the model year. Now showing 74k miles, it is one of two paint-to-sample Salmon Metallic cars produced for the model year and the only one built for the United States.  Black leather interior with factory sport seats.  Powered by it’s original turbocharged 245HP 3.0-liter flat-six paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes power windows, front fog lights, headlight washers, an electric sunroof, rear wiper, a whale-tail spoiler and an Kenwood CD player. Documentation includes it’s original owners manual,  manufacturer’s literature, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and a clean title.

The car was professionally repainted in its factory color approximately six years ago.  The car is listed in Ryan Snodgrass’s book, Turbo 3.0: Porsche’s First Turbocharged Supercar, as factory-finished in the paint-to-sample (99) color of Salmon Metallic (036).  Features include an electric sunroof and driver side mirror, headlight washers, a power antenna, a rear wiper, and a rear spoiler.

The cabin is trimmed in Black leather with a matching dashboard, carpets, and door panels. Features include manually-adjusted sport seats, power windows, a  Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo.

Approximately 74k original miles on original 3.0 liter engine with good leakdown test numbers. Recent servicing includes full tune-up, new brakes, Bilstein shocks, tie-rod ends, steering rack boots and engine mounts.  New Continental Extreme Contact Sport Z-rated tires were just installed.  Engine oil, brake fluid and fuel filter changed recently.  The correct 4 speed transmission shifts excellent.
