1983 Porsche 911SC Coupe

This 1983 Porsche 911SC coupe is finished in Guards Red over black leather upholstery and is powered by it’s original 3.0-liter flat-six mated to it’s original five-speed manual transaxle. Additional equipment includes 16″ Fuchs alloy wheels, a sunroof, fog lights, cruise control, air conditioning, power windows, and a Pioneer CD stereo. The car was first delivered on March 25th, 1983 by University Porsche Audi in Seattle, Washington and remained with it’s original owner in Washington through 2021.  We purchased from it’s second owner in Idaho.  A top end engine rebuild was completed in September 2006 at an odometer reading of 113,642 miles. Documentation includes engine rebuild record, service records, original tool kit, owner’s and warranty manuals, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Idaho title.

The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in black leather along with a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include air conditioning, power windows, cruise control, and a Pioneer CD stereo with separate amplifier and Focal brand speakers. The three-spoke steering wheel frames a central tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline as well as a 170-mph speedometer, a clock, and supplementary gauges.  The six-digit odometer shows just over 120k miles.

The 16″ Fuchs wheels with black centers are mounted with new Riken Raptor tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes with ventilated rotors.

The original 3.0-liter flat-six engine (number *64D2516*) features Bosch fuel injection and was factory rated at 172 horsepower and 189 lb-ft of torque. Service history includes a top end engine rebuild completed in September 2006 at 113,642 miles.  Power is sent to the rear wheels through the original 915 five-speed manual transaxle. Additional underside photos are presented in the gallery below.  A great sounding stainless steel muffler is installed.

Included are the original owner’s manual and warranty service book, service records back to 2002, CarFax report and a clean Idaho title.  Accessories include the original toolkit, jack and spare wheel.
