1989 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe G50

This 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera coupe was special ordered in rare Slate Grey metallic over Black upholstery and shows just 69k miles. It was first registered in Hawthorne Woods, Illinois and later spent time in Missouri between 1999 to 2020.  Power comes from it’s original 3.2L flat-six mated to a G50 5-speed manual transaxle and factory-optional limited-slip differential.  Recent servicing includes oil and filter change, AC recharge, new hood and decklid shocks,  Service in late 2019 included fuel filter, new fuel pressure regulator, cleaned idle control valve.  Additional features include limited slip differential, rear wiper, staggered-width 16” Fuchs wheels, an electric sliding sunroof, and more.  This 3.2 Carrera is now being offered with service records back to 1990, original manuals, original toolkit, a clean Carfax, and a clean California title.

Paint and Body

The car is finished in special order Slate Grey Metallic (22D) and features a rear window wiper, fog lights and a power-operated sunroof.  The included Carfax report lists no history of accidents or other damage.  Paint meter readings indicate the car is wearing a majority of it’s original paint and no dings or dents are found on the body.

Seats are trimmed in Black leather and feature power height and tilt adjustments. Additional factory options included a steering wheel with elevated hub and a power sunroof. A set of Porsche logo mats protect the carpet.  An Alpine head unit is installed. The air-conditioning system was recharged last year. This Carrera was optioned with cruise control, which is controlled via a lever behind the windshield wiper stalk.  Just over 68k miles are shown on the 6-digit odometer.

Wheels and Brakes

16″ Fuchs alloy wheels are wrapped in Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 205/55 and 225/50 sized tires. Brakes fluid was recently flushed.

The original 3.2L flat-six sends power to the rear wheels through a G50 5-speed manual transaxle. An oil and filter change was just completed and maintenance records beginning in 1990 accompany the vehicle.
