1991 Porsche 964 C4 Coupe

This 1991 Porsche 964 Coupe was originally sold to it’s first owner on June 8, 1992 by Hendrick Imports in North Carolina.  The second owner, who inherited the car in 2001, resided in Newport Beach, California.  The car is finished in it’s original Black Metallic over black partial leather and is powered by a 3.6-liter flat-six that drives all four wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes 16″ Design 90 wheels, a limited-slip differential, a sunroof, power-adjustable front seats, cruise control, air conditioning, and an Alpine CD stereo and amplifier hooked to MB Quart speakers. The odometer now shows approximately 63k miles. Work completed in April 2023 included cleaning the heat exchangers, valve adjustment, replacing the valve cover gaskets, distributor cap and rotor, oil return tubes, and spark plug wire clips. Includes the owner’s manual, recent service records, toolkit, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.

The car is finished in Black Metallic (L700) and features a speed-activated rear spoiler, an electric sunroof, integrated fog lights, a rear window wiper, and heated and power-adjustable side mirrors. There is a small ding in the front trunk lid.  Paint meter readings indicate all original paint.

The cabin is upholstered in Black leather with a matching black dash and door panels.  The interior features factory optioned 8-way electronically adjustable seats.  The power-adjustable front bucket seats are upholstered in black leather complemented by a color-coordinated dash, center console, and door panels.  Amenities include dual front airbags, power windows, cruise control, air conditioning, and an Alpine CD stereo and amplifier hooked to MB Quart speakers. The leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline as well as a 180-mph speedometer, a Quarz analog clock, and gauges for oil level, oil pressure, oil temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows approximately 63k miles.  All lights, sunroof, power windows and power mirrors are also functioning correctly.

Silver-finished 16″ Design 90 wheels are wrapped in Continental ContiSportContact tires measuring 205/55 up front and 245/45 out back. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs with ABS. The power steering pump suction hose and power steering fluid were replaced in April 2023.

The 3.6-liter flat-six was factory-rated at 247 horsepower at 6,100 rpm with 228 lb-ft of torque at 4,800 rpm when new, which is delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. The engine runs strong and original 5-speed transmission shifts excellent.  Work completed in April 2023 included cleaning the heat exchangers and replacing the valve cover gaskets, distributor cap and rotor, oil return tubes, and spark plug wire clips.  An oil and filter change, gearbox oil change, valve adjustment and brake fluid flush were also completed.  New oil return tubes were installed on the passenger side.  

Power is sent to all four wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential.

Included are a clean title and an accident and damage free Carfax report. Two owner ownership in California is documented.
