1992 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Cabriolet

This 1992 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 cabriolet was first registered in Missouri and subsequently spent time in Minnesota and Ohio, before moving to Arizona in 2009.  The prior AZ owner purchased the car at 37k miles. Finished in Amazon Green Pearl over a Linen partial leather interior, the car is powered by a 3.6-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a black soft top, power-adjustable driver and passenger seats, air conditioning, cruise control, a Pioneer CD stereo, and factory 16″ five-spoke Cup wheels. Recent service completed in March 2023 included a valve adjustment and new valve cover gaskets, fuel filter, oil thermostat o-ring, vacuum reservoir . This 964 C2 cabriolet is now offered with original tool kit, original manuals, spare, original CD2 stereo, a car cover, and a clean Arizona title.

The car is finished in Amazon Green Metallic (L39A) and features a black convertible soft top. Exterior details include integrated fog lights, heated and power-adjustable side mirrors, and a single exhaust outlet. The Carfax report lists a May 2017 accident that resulted in minor paint damage to the right side of the car. The right fender and quarter panel were repainted to repair the damage. Paint meter readings will be provided.

The front bucket seats are upholstered in optional Linen draped leather and complemented by a color-coordinated center console, door panels, and carpets. This example features storage compartments in place of rear seats, and amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, a Pioneer CD stereo, an 8-way power-adjustable driver seat and 4-way passenger seat, dual front airbags, and power windows. The removed factory Alpine CD-2 stereo is included in the sale. Wear is visible on the shift knob and driver and passenger seats.

The factory silver-finished 16″ five-spoke Cup wheels are wrapped in Continental Control Contact Sport A/S tires measuring 205/55 up front and 225/50 out back. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs with ABS.  

The 3.6-liter flat-six was factory-rated at 247 horsepower at 6,100 rpm with 228 lb-ft of torque at 4,800 rpm when new, which is delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. The engine runs strong and original 5-speed transmission shifts well.  Recent service completed in March 2023 included a valve adjustment and replacing the valve cover gaskets.  Documented service history received from prior owner covers services from 2009 through 2022.  Other than regular oil services, the past service highlights include:
