38k Mile 2000 Porsche Boxster Ocean Blue Metallic

This 2000 Porsche Boxster is finished in Ocean Blue Metallic (L3AZ) with a blue soft top over Graphite Grey leather and powered by a 2.7-liter flat-six mated to a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes automatic climate control, a wind deflector, 17″ Carrera-look wheels, power-adjustable seats and six speaker stereo. The car was first registered in Colorado and was registered in New Mexico in 2016.  It now has 38k miles, and documented service since 2016 included installation of an LN Engineering IMS retrofit kit, water pump, battery,  ignition lock cylinder and more. This Boxster is offered with service records, original manuals, toolkit, spare, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New Mexico title.

Paint and Body

The body is finished in highly attractive Ocean Blue Metallic and features a power-operated blue soft top, roll hoops with an integrated wind deflector, integrated fog lights, side air intakes, and an optional polished stainless steel exhaust outlet.  A $2100 paint correction was completed in October of 2018 @ 35k miles.  The paint is in excellent condition with very few blemishes and there are no dings or dents.

Interior

The cabin features power-adjustable seats upholstered in Graphite Grey leather, along with matching door panels and carpets protected by rubber floor mats.  The rear window in the blue soft top is clear with no yellowing at all.  Amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, and a CDC-200 powered by a Memphis amplifier.  Interior options include a carbon shift knob and handbrake handle. The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames instrumentation including a central tachometer, a 150-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates just over 38k miles.  A new ignition lock cylinder was installed in October of 2020.

Wheels and Brakes

Optional 17″ Carrera-look wheels wear brand new Michelin Pilot Sport AS4 tires.  Attractive red brake calipers are installed with a recent brake fluid flush.

Mechanicals

The mid-mounted 2.7-liter flat-six sits behind the passenger compartment and was factory rated at 217 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque. Service performed within the last 8k miles included installation of an LN Engineering IMS dual row bearing, crankshaft seal, cam plug, new water pump, thermostat, drive belt and new battery.  An oil change was performed in late 2020.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through an excellent shifting five-speed manual transaxle.  Factory options include limited slip differential and automatic braking differential.

Original manuals and service records are included in the sale.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Colorado and New Mexico.
