Paint and Body

The 997 Carrera 4S features wider rear bodywork when compared to the standard Carrera. This example is finished in Cobalt Blue Metallic with a soft top. Additional equipment includes integrated fog lights, a speed-activated rear spoiler, chrome headlight washers, and polished quad exhaust outlets.

Interior

The cabin features power-adjustable front seats upholstered in Sand Beige leather. Interior amenities include a Pioneer touchscreen head unit, driver-seat memory settings, a Bose sound system, a remote six-disc CD changer, automatic climate control, and cruise control.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central tachometer and a 200-mph speedometer as well as gauges for oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 73k miles.

Wheels and Brakes

The 19” Carrera S wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Braking is handled by Porsche-branded four-piston calipers over cross-drilled and vented rotors. The car is equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and Porsche Stability Management (PSM).  All new suspension components (struts, shocks, tie rods, bushings, etc.) were recently installed.  

Mechanicals

The 3.8-liter flat-six features VarioCam Plus variable valve timing for a factory rating of 355 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Power is routed to all four wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle.

The window sticker documents the initial sale from Beverly Hills Porsche in Beverly Hills, California to first owner in January of 2006.  Included are the manuals, service records, and a clean Nevada title.
